Honoring Memory, Choosing Freedom

Why My First Book Is Free This Memorial Day

On Memorial Day, we first honor the men and women who died serving in the U.S. Armed Forces. In remembrance, I’m making ‘From Crime Scene to Community Return’ a free PDF download. Some memories must be honored, and some must finally set us free.

The last year of starting and building my business has been deeply worthwhile. I took online classes, became a professional life coach and professional mental health coach, and discovered how much I enjoy helping people grow, heal, and rebuild within the framework of my church and faith community. That work has meant a great deal to me, but over time, I also began to feel a calling to do something bigger.

Through Christopher Aldana LLC, I have continued to grow, refine, and transform the vision behind my work. Part of that growth has come through the success of From Crime Scene to Community Return, and I am grateful that the book has helped support the next stage of my business and mission. Because of that, making it available as a free PDF download on Memorial Day feels like a meaningful way to give back.

My hope is that this book will continue to reach people who need encouragement, accountability, faith, and a reminder that rehabilitation is possible. In the spirit of Memorial Day, we remember sacrifice with reverence, but we are also invited to reflect honestly on the memories that have shaped us. Some memories must be honored. Some must be carried differently. And some, by the grace of God, can become part of the freedom to move forward.
